Wright's Gym Newest Member Spotlight: Shane "The Savage Gentleman" Chojnacki
Wright’s Gym proudly boasts having the BEST and hardest working gym members in the Pittsburgh area. In fact, if we are asked to prove why we are the best gym in Pittsburgh, we just point to them. They are proof that when we create a real fitness community centered around support and encouragement, the sky's the limit in what we can achieve. This is why we routinely spotlight the individuals who make up our gym. Because a gym, even one filled with a bunch of awesome new equipment, is just an empty room without you all to bring it to life.
The next member we spotlight hardly needs an introduction. He’s got a personality the size of his biceps and a career just as big in some of the most exciting and exhilarating sports around. He is that person you know who lights up the room when he walks in. But rooms can’t tell the full story, because this member really shines when he’s in an arena lighting someone up with elbows and knees in front of a cheering crowd of fans.
Shane Chojnacki, otherwise known as The Savage Gentleman, has an accomplished career as a multi-sport professional athlete overcoming competition as a professional wrestler, undefeated MMA fighter and pro boxer. He’s traveled the world competing internationally in countries like France, Italy, Australia and Canada. Taking this experience, he works as a personal trainer, boxing coach, functional fitness expert and recovery specialist assisting anyone seeking to improve themselves. His skills as a professional wrestler have even earned him performances out of the nation's top wrestling organizations like All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
Shane is the epitome of encouragement. He embodies the Wright’s Gym philosophy of dedication, passion and discipline. He is motivated in his career, staying very active in professional wrestling and working with clients daily throughout the week with personal training. His presence brings positivity to our gym floors and often we see him sharing fitness advice with members throughout the day.
Many of our members here at Wright’s Gym have trained with Shane and can speak to the effectiveness of his
methods. His style utilizes tried and true traditional boxing techniques and mixes it with well researched functional fitness methods to ensure his clients achieve and oftentimes exceed their goals. Many people are surprised by Shane's passion for fitness after just one conversation with him, let alone when he is personally optimizing a plan specific to your fitness goals and aspirations.
Stories like this are a special thanks to members like Shane who have helped create the atmosphere that exists here at Wright’s Gym. Our community is like none other in the Pittsburgh area. People like Shane and many others here at Wright’s remind us that although we all chase our own individual goals, we are all together in our pursuits and should acknowledge, encourage and support each other.
